Magaziner has been their VNA partner of choice for over 20 years.... in fact their original machine, from 2002, is still operating at one of their Dublin facilities.
The chemical industry presents some unique challenges for warehousing and operation of MHE, substances that are potentially explosive are often handled and safety regulations require that all potential ignition or flash points are removed as a matter of course.
Chemco currently operate a number of Magaziner EK2000 units that have been fitted with Pyroban System 6000E Atex conversions to comply with all current Atex rules and regulations.
With over 20 years of experience in meeting Chemco's needs, we are currently in the process of installing and commissioning a fully autonomous Magaziner AGV/VNA solution on behalf of Chemco. Our partners on this project are EK Robotics of Germany.
Once signed off, a significant part of Chemco's warehouse operations will be fully autonomous, integrating directly with their Warehouse Management System 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
