Long Loads
In an effort to maximise the productive storage capacity of Modern Tyres new purpose-built warehouse in Newry, the company decided to utilise a standard sized stillage - 1250mm(W) x 2395mm(L) - placed into a bespoke racking system.
Traditionally, the company had been using reach trucks and wider aisles to facilitate their requirements. On this occasion they were impressed by our attention to detail and willingness to design the right solution for them.
The nature of the range of tyres that the company stocked meant that, in some cases, bigger tyres would present an overhang outside the footprint of the stillage.
After significant analysis of Modern Tyres requirements, and consultation with Magaziner in Germany, we developed a bespoke EK2000 VNA solution allowing the company to successfully operate a man up VNA solution in conjunction with long loads.
The order was placed, the truck delivered and we have another happy customer who was immediately talking about an additional machine.

The Magaziner long load solution has been successfully utilised in conjunction with palletised loads with significant load overhang, stillages for all manner of warehouse operations, in addition to unusually wide or extended load lengths.
