The XC Series three-wheel electric forklift covers capacities from 1300kg to 2000kg. It uses dedicated lithium cells and modules which results in a truck with fast lifting, quick travel and a compact footprint, built for warehouses and workshops where space is tight.
Power comes from 80V lithium battery packs with various capacity and charger options available. Batteries include a low-temperature electric heating system as standard, and can be removed with a manual or electric cart for easy servicing.
The operator’s space is a highlight. The dashboard sits overhead, where it can be read with a glance up, and the large-screen colour display shows mileage and operating time. For all-day comfort, a Grammer MSG531 suspended seat is optional, and an integrated fingertip control system with ergonomic armrests brings the emergency shut-off, horn and four thumb switches together, electrically controlled over the CAN bus.
Visibility is helped by the wide-view mast. An enlarged fork carriage opening widens the operator’s view through the mast, and the high fulcrum of the tilt cylinder gives better force bearing and steadier operation. Various duplex and triplex mast configurations are available.
Safety is built into the standard specification. Fork descending buffering slows the load automatically when the forks are 60 to 100 mm from the ground, protecting both goods and floor. Other standard features include a turning deceleration function, a handbrake with a touch-proof mechanism, an emergency shut-off switch that meets European safety regulations, a reversing buzzer, and electronic and hydraulic overload protection.
Options include fork ascending buffering, a descending lock that disables lowering when the driver leaves the seat, an OPS seat sensing function, and a handbrake alarm buzzer. Up to three horn buttons are available, on the steering wheel and on the optional armrests. Access can be restricted with a PIN code system..
Maintenance is designed to be simple. The fully sealed hood and side plates protect the motor and electrical components from dust and water, and the hood opens wide on a self-locking gas spring for access to the battery. Key parts are laid out for easy access and repair.
